Description

An unworn stainless steel and yellow gold 41mm case chronometer certified automatic movement Rolex Datejust 41 (126333) featuring a ‘Wimbledon’ slate grey dial with green outlined black Roman numeral hour markers and a date aperture at 3 O’clock surrounded by a yellow gold fluted bezel and complemented by a full retail length stainless steel and yellow gold Rolex Oyster bracelet. This watch is complete with its Rolex box, both swing tickets and all relevant paperwork including a warranty card, user manual and service booklet. This particular watch was first registered in June 2021 and benefits from being covered by Rolex’s manufacturer warranty until June 2026!

THE OYSTER BRACELET
The Oyster bracelet is a perfect alchemy of form and function, aesthetics and technology, designed to be both robust and comfortable. It is equipped with an Oysterclasp and the Easylink comfort extension link, also exclusive to Rolex. This ingenious system allows the wearer to increase the bracelet length by approximately 5 mm, providing additional comfort in any circumstance.

THE FLUTED BEZEL
The Rolex fluted bezel is a mark of distinction. Originally, the fluting of the Oyster bezel had a functional purpose: it served to screw the bezel onto the case helping to ensure the waterproofness of the watch.

SLATE DIAL
The sunray finish on Rolex dials is a predominant method in watchmaking of achieving pure metallic colour dials such as shades of silver grey, rhodium or ruthenium. Silver-plating is mostly used as a base layer for the sunray finish, where further colour is added to the prepared dial. Sometimes colours such as champagne are achieved through electroplating with more than half a dozen different metals.
